Two of the very first shots I took with my d90 while trying to get used to everything. I figured id share it because I like this stuff so much

Lol, that is chili cheese firies from skyline chili. Cincinnati style chili topped fries with a heaping mound of bright orange "chedder?" cheese.

Ali, sometimes we top "French fries" (deep fried potato strips) with "Chili" (Chili con carne). Some consider it a food group.

brucep is partially correct... french fries in general are their own food group upon which you can add whatever you want to them... chili ketchup ranch cheese etc etc

One has to know what the local version of "chili" is.
Depending on where you are located if you order chili, chili with beans, chili with spaghetti, or chili with beans and spaghetti it could be the exact same dish. In other places if you order chili you get bare bones spiced meat and you have to order the "extras" to go with it. I have seen chili cooks look like someone just shot their best dog if a customer adds anything to the "regular" dish as served.

I'm glad my photograph of a hometown favorite started this thread . Willard, cheese must also be added to that list. Cheese on anything makes it better, especially if its melty and gooey.
